This test measures 4 key hormones known to play an important role in your overall health
Your test results will provide detailed information on the four hormones measured and whether levels are normal, low, or high. When measured together, the levels of these hormones offer a broader overview and greater insight into your hormonal balance and overall health.
Cortisol
Cortisol is produced in the adrenal glands and is released in response to acute stressors, like illness, exercise, and emotional stressors. Cortisol is often called your body’s “stress hormone”. Cortisol has many roles in the body though, including helping control blood sugar levels and regulating energy metabolism.
